Getting ready for Friday and Saturday show!
Olivenhain Grove Sale
Christie and I went to Gail's place to unload our big items. It's a lemon grove for real! All the 30 plus vendors are setting up between lemon trees and they smell amazingly delicious. The tents will be at a horse shoe shape. You have to stop by to see it! I can't wait to shop, actually. This time I am going to enjoy my self and drink some lemonade. I am working on special charms for Mother's day and if I can,
I will squeeze in few garden signs. See you there.

Buongiorno!

Finally after 3 years my Hollyhock bloomed....2 acres of land and 1 Hollyhock. She is a beauty, enjoy.

Didi/Daisy

What was I suppose to do today? Oh yes, get ready for the Barn Sale.....not
I went down to the chicken coop to check on Mojo and guess what? Didi was born, I did name her Daisy but Dean changed the name. So, the story goes....the brooder, her name is Cinderella doesn't want to take care of Didi in fact she did step on it, so I had to take her with me. Could not find the heat lamp..., so I drove Miss Daisy aka Didi all over Temecula. Now she is warm, in the kitchen, everybody is happy but nothing got done for the sale!

I may take her to the Urban Barn
Ciao for now

Have a sit, enjoy while we visit
"The Tattered House"
owned by Sandy and Erika

The Antique Market was just out side their store and I don't know how these ladies do it!
55 vendors...and not just any vendors. I was so happy to sell and shop at the same time. I found a skirt for Bella (dress form), this trip really did a number on her.

Christie and Colette at work the Saturday before the show

hydrangeas are hanging to dry....

I love anything done with silverware, amazing work

Colette and Katy have their own spaces at The Tattered House too and I love how they work on every little detail. I wish I was that patient.

Getting ready now for my next adventure....."Urban Barn" here I come.

White Wednesday Lace from Sicily

White Wednesday!
and I need to know what to do....

The bird is a new project for Glitterfest. Did you know I will be at Glitterfest? The challenge for me is to make small things. Since I will have my Birdhouses I was thinking of decorating birds. I am not good at it. The best bird decorators are: Joy from Vintage Rabbit and Linda from La Maison Rustique/Urban Barn But I am going to give it a try....
Also I brought back lace from Sicily, some new, some old. The question is: do I resale them by the yard? Do I make things with it?

first bird is done! and I don't like it. I got it a Joann and it's head looks to Franksteinish to me. Oh well, it was fun.

Happy White Wednesday and don't forget to visit Kathleen for more White Wednesday bloguettes.
Arrivederci Rita
First chick is born!!!!!

Do you see her to the right of Mamma. She is shy, I hope it's a she....we don't need another rooster. And Dean named her/him/it..."MOJO".
So so cute!

don't worry more pics to come.

"Urban Barn"

went for a ride today...Linda Carpenter owner of La Maison Rustique was at the new location in Escondido. La Maison Rustique now Urban Barn moved about 25 minutes from Rainbow. It's huge!
I got lost a couple of times... I took few pics but there is lot more. Great vendors and artists.

look at this little bunny waiting for the next sale. The Urban Barn is open to the public from Wednesday to Saturday, check out the blog for hours and directions. Then ones a month the Barn opens the back doors to the Flea Market, more vendors are invited to the show. There is a loft, amazing! and a....room just for classes.
I am planning to teach a few soldering classes there too. It's a huge room with lots of windows, it's perfect.
Arrivederci Rita
