Sometime I am happy when it rains.....so I can be inside making trouble! I made 3 soldered books. They are layered with fabric, gauze, lace, ribbons, glass, solder and rhinestones. A long project but I do love the results. I hope it rains a little bit longer, I do have something else in the making.

Happy Monday!

it's been a while since I said Happy Monday....we are always so tired after the weekend but today it was my day to take a challenge. Project Table Runner.
I went shopping yesterday for a table runner. No luck or too expensive. Well, I had some painter cloth left, red fabric that I cut from curtains and I own only one spool thread/ thread of spool (not sure). Dusted my sewing machine and......

Kitchen scissors are the best, but don't tell Deano

my Nonna Angelina would be proud.

Is this table runner going to last? I don't know. I don't think I can wash it, it will fall a part for sure but for now it looks great. I am going to leave the sewing to the experts and going back to my usual soldering and woodwork.
