Smell the Roses

Dean is doing very well after his motorcycle accident almost 2 weeks ago. I had to take a brake from my regular  routine and I just got back on creating for the next show. We are so grateful to have so many amazing friends that have been checking on us and dropping off food, making us dinners and bringing us lunch.

This morning I woke up really early and decide to go outside and enjoy the roses that are exploding! So peaceful and beautiful.

I stopped by Amber's house yesterday to return her dish....she made us chicken pot pie, so so delish! and this is one of her roses from the back yard. Love it and the smell is incredible.

Monday I worked on on few new Message in a Bottle. Thinking of Mother's Day I made few with Italian words. I was actually cutting pages of an Italian book to roll into a tiny message and add it to the mini bottles. While cutting I was reading some of the phrases and decided to show the sweet word inside the bottle. This one in particular says "Tanti Baci" "Lot's of Kisses"

Ah! che bella = how beautiful

Cara = Dear

and more seashells, pearls and glitter message in a bottle. These charms are ready to be sold at the Vintage Marketplace at the Oaks but first I will list some of them on my etsy shop (link on the sidebar).

Wind Song

Creativity, Inspiration that is all we need!
Today I attended Launch your Creativity for the third time. I had such a great time seen friends and meeting new ones. I am so fortunate to be surrounded but so many amazing, creative ladies. Every single woman was there with an open heart and willing to listen, and learn. All the speakers were incredible and gave us a lot of info about business.

 Kay Ellen spoke.....she is an Interior designer, photographer, special event planner. Some of the things she mentioned were:
 Individuality= You are one of a kind
Time well Spent= Time for business, networking, family.
Open Doors= Seek out all opportunities
Attitude= make sure you find joy in your business

An amazing day! 
The two charms  above were just returned to me by Beth editor of Jewelry Affaire. These charms were published in the latest issue of the magazine. I haven't seen them for a while and it was such a surprise to open the box and seen them again. The Wind Song mini perfume charm did sell today and I know is going to a special Lady.

Smell the Roses

Today we all felt drained.........but so happy to have Deano home. Gosh, ( my new slang word) I don't know how he does it but he is in good spirit. With the beautiful weather we spent few hours outside enjoying the roses.

I hoped to take Dean home Tuesday afternoon but when I arrived at the hospital the Doc. was explaining to him that they had found more fractures in his back and neck. This will delay him from going home. Deano is doing well. He text me last night and said that they took him for a little walk. That is wonderful! Thank you for all your comments on FB and Blog and calls. I have a lot of paper work to gather and then I will be on my way and I hope today I can bring him home. I will keep you posted.

The light is there.....

The Day
Monday morning, having coffee with Deano at 7am. What a beautiful day is going to be. Gave Deano a kiss goodbye and listen to the sound of his Harley. Hugging the boys few minutes later and on their way to school they go. I am ready.... coffee in one hand, ready to answer e-mails and worried about my dentist appointment at 11am.  7:40am I hear an ambulance,  and I always wonder and I hope he/she is ok. I hear the phone.....Alan is calling.

This picture this morning is helping me write this post.  No matter what, there has to BE a light at the end of the tunnel!
Deano is going to be ok, he fractured is scapula, sprained his ankle.. Waiting for more tests this morning and I hope to bring him home today. Very thankful he is going to be ok and to have so much support from our FRIENDS and my SIL.

Sometime I do feel like....there is so much to learn!!! I am having a hard time lately to absorb all this stuff.

Tonight Raffaele my youngest showed me some little tricks to do with photos. We used paint.net...... I know I need some practice but I LOVE what we did tonight.

Happy Monday!

Beautiful Weather this last weekend. My Deano and I spent a couple of days with the Boys, Family and Friends. We have been so busy lately that we really missed been together.
