The Gift of Creativity

This is it!!!! Tomorrow I will be pricing and packing....The Vintage Marketplace at the Oaks is just around the corner. June 1st and 2nd here in Rainbow California.
Without THEM, the artists this would not happen. Not only these Ladies are artists but they are in my opinion  THE BEST! Artists, Givers, Promoters, Friends.......

Re cycle-Re use

Vintage Inspiration Friday
A friend gave me few broken shutters....the color and the patina is amazing! I soldered few San Pellegrino's bottles a while back, and now they hang from the shutter. The green of the glass against the aqua is a MUST!

I have been collecting vintage tea pots, not sure why. Last sell I sold few of these signs and I had one teapot left....and made one more.
Cute and Practical

And one more birdhouse is ready for the show!!!! This one is buttercup yellow and aqua.
I used recycled wood for the house and the roof is made with wainscot paneling.

A much needed walk

The weekend was full of activities and Monday I woke up tired. Wanting to go back to bed....but that is not possible. Saturday I had my last soldering class before the show. It was such a great class and I will post about it soon. While teaching the boys were getting ready for Prom! What I didn't realize was that....that night I would not sleep until they got back home, I was curious to know if they had a great time. They went to prom as a group and rented a bus. They came home around 3 am and I was sitting on my bed waiting for them to tell me everything.....NOT! They said goodnight and went to bed. Sunday was another busy and enjoyable day. We went to two parties......so yes Monday I was exhausted.

After taking this walk with Alan and a chat with a friend, everything was back to normal.

Enjoy the photos!
