Dream small Dreams

I am starting to feel overwhelmed with how much has happened already and how much will be happening in the next couple of months. It's a good thing and I am not going to complain but I feel I need to clone another little me.
I am a wife, a mother, the housekeeper and the cook, a friend......the chicken keeper.......and I love every minute of it but sometimes we do get overwhelmed and that is when I just drop what I am doing and take a walk in the yard.

Slowly I have been loading the trailer for the next event and the other evening I was getting ready to put this pink chair in the trailer and stopped for a second....I looked at the sun and it was just perfect...perfect time for a photo. I get so excited! Ran in the house, got the camera and Voila'! This photo gave me peace....

More decisions where made yesterday....since Raffaele is graduating this year from high school, him and I will be taking a little trip back to Sicily to visit La Nonna. We are both excited and nervous, just the two of us!
So after purchasing the tickets I had to take another walk, ;)
This time I took the camera with me to take few pictures of the Geranium in the yard. I love Geranium and I was told that they are called The Rose of the Poor. Here are few of my favorite Geranium and one of my favorite rose in absolute Rosa Ballerina.

I ended my Sunday with creating another Hardware Necklace. I made all the jump rings and hammer them flat.
 I loved this process.

Pretty Things for The Vintage Marketplace at the Oaks

The Vintage Marketplace is so inspiring to me. Christie and I chose a different theme for each show. We know what it should look like but only very close to the event is when we have the real visual. The May/June event is French Flea....I have never been in France and never seen a real French Flea so this is how I see a French Flea.
Pink, gold, cream, crystals, roses......

 Back to work!

Wishing you a wonderful Weekend

MOTHERS

A Mother is someone who shelter and guide us, who Love us. No matter if you gave birth to a child, adopted a child, adopted a pet..... YOU ARE A MOTHER. So, to all the Mamma's out there I hope you had a wonderful weekend like We did.

We all had a wonderful day...Dean and I spent part of the morning working on projects. Dean is into welding at the moment and while he was creating I spent some time  painting furniture.
I believe the temperature got to 100 degrees and that is when we both decided it was time to go in the pool.
We brought the camera with us and this is what we both enjoyed shooting.

We ended the evening at the movies and dinner with the boys.

Peaceful Sunday

After all the excitement of Saturday photography's class I spent Sunday walking around and taking photos remembering what Cynthia Shaffer taught us, and it was fun!
I love my pics...

Loving my Zope in the back ground. Zope is my shadow, he goes wherever I go.

Milo

Pam brought these bouquet of flowers Saturday and I can't resist taking photos of it. I added more pink gerbera  daisy to the bouquet.

I hope you are having a wonderful week. I am getting ready for the next Vintage Marketplace at the Oaks....and I have so much to share....real soon.

Beginning Photography 100 and Photography 200

I am not going to forget this last Saturday! It was such a wonderful experience....photographer extraordinaire Cynthia Shaffer came all the way to Rainbow to teach us indoor and outdoor photography. We were 10 students and what a beautiful group of Ladies and Gentlemen. Since Dean and I were also cooking, our son Raffaele took the first part of the class. Raffaele will be taking photography this fall in collage, so it was the perfect time.
