Vintage Inspirational Friday

We all love VINTAGE!

I especially love VINTAGE signs but they are a little bit to pricy or hard to find and I do understand that time goes by and they gain value. Am I saying it correctly?. Any how, today I am linking to Debra at Common Ground (Thank you Debra!) for another "Vintage Inspiration Friday". I am so inspired by these signs. They are not VINTAGE but it takes me few hours to make them look VINTAGE. Layers and layers of different paints, sanding and staining. It's so much fun! and you never know how it's going to look at the end. I am getting ready for the next "The Vintage Marketplace" and planning to have a lot of signs to choose from.

It's my second time to make "Welcome to my World" and this was a special request. I am always saying Welcome to my World but never though people would want it in their own home.

Go figure!

The weather is gorgeous today!

I made my self a mint ice tea and I do deserve a break.

Don't you? We are working so hard, between the boys, dinners, the house, the 4 dogs, the chickens, the chicks, the woodwork, the soldering.....

am I giving you anxiety? Am I looking for a medal? No. Still after all that I have to do my day is wonderful! Accomplishing so much is so rewarding and I am not a big complainer because complaining doesn't make any of the chores disappear. So "Positivity is the key"

I will be teaching with Jackie B. this Saturday at her home and I think I am ready. The goodie bags are ready and I am taking few smalls to sell. Can't wait for another class!

The Point Loma Garden Walk

Buongiorno!

Friday afternoon Christie and I drove to San Diego and this is where we started our wonderful weekend. Kathleen invited us to stay over night while attending the Point Loma Garden show the next day.

Beautiful Garden and Beautiful Home, Thank you Kathleen for having us.

In her back patio there it was the most beautiful hummingbird nesting on a chandelier.

Kathleen, Christie and Sandra Lee. We all went out for Italian food Friday night.

Babiesssss!!! Chicks

I was minding my own business. Cutting wood and listening to the radio when I heard one of the chicken scream so loud! I wish I had a video camera. She was chasing Calie (dog), her wings spread out and running towards the dog. What in Petunia's name it's going on? The hen goes back under the carport still screaming really loud and what do I see picking from under some boxes. Chicks, not just one or two but NINE. The cutest things......

Well I had to drop what ever I was working on and finish a chick coop that Dean and Alan were getting ready for the other 12 chicks that will be born at the end of the month. Anybody needs chicks please let me know. We will have TWENTY ONE by the end of April.

Getting ready for the next The Vintage Marketplace

I am so excited! We are getting closer to the BIG DAY! June 3rd and 4th it will be our 6th Vintage Marketplace, also known as Chateau De Fleurs. Christie and I have been hosting Chateau De Fleurs since March 2010 at Christie beautiful Cottage Home in Fallbrook, California. From 10 vendors to start we finished the 5th Chateau de Fleurs with 25 vendors. We decided to take the big step and look for a new location where we could have room for more vendors and parking. And yes we found the perfect location here in my own backyard in Rainbow, California. We have selected our amazing 34 vendors and we are ready to roll. This is our add that just came out in THE TODAY'S VINTAGE magazine.

We also have a new Fan Page on FB, please take a look for all the up dates. Soon Christie and I will start announcing the vendors and show their goodies.

Sunny Carlsbad

Beautiful weather in Carlsbad this last weekend. Raffaele came with us to ejoy the Flower Fields and he took a lot of photos!

Tempo stupendo a Carlsbad questo fine settimana. Raffaele ha passato il Sabato con noi al Campo dei Fiori e ha fatto un mondo di foto!

I can't wait to spend this coming week working in my garden.

Un uccellino che si prepara in nido. I ragazzi sono in vacanza questa settimana, cucinero' tantissimo e sopratutto mi curero' del mio 17enne che oggi avra' i sui 5 denti del giudizio rimossi!
