Happy Monday!
This is a great story: Friday Christie and I went to sell at the Fallbrook's Market....not a good day for us vendors, it was miserably HOT! In the middle of the square an older couple was selling tomatoes. Half way into the market all the vendors start singing Happy Birthday, Virginia (right) was turning 90 years old.
The day goes by, Hot.... and we noticed that a lovely lady stops to check the tomatoes and all of the sudden she hugs Virginia. P.S. they never met before They pull another chair for her to sit and the two ladies start talking and smiling. It was Giorgia's B-day too (left), she turned 89 years old. Just looking at them smiling and talking and hugging made my day. I guess Virginia whispered to Giorgia's ear "maybe will make headlines". I got a message from one of their nieces and guess what? The Village News will write a story about Virginia and Giorgia. They exchanged phone numbers and promised each other to keep in touch.
Ciao Rita

  6. Such a sweet story! I can relate, my mom is 89...turning 90 in September. I wish she still had some ladyfriends to meet with...most of her old friends have passed away.

These ladies are enjoying their day to the fullest...you go girls!
