"Snow White Wednesday"
What's in the box?

Originally this box was a silverware box that Dean and I brought back to life. It was brown and with a velvet purple liner inside. PURPLE? not for me. We took out the velvet liner , sand it and re-painted with a coat of primer and two coats of white paint. Finished with an applique' just for the usual extra cottage touch.

The Christmas white trees, my favorite. I love the silver and white together, easy project. Hot glue gun to attach the silver balls and lots of white glue to attach the German glass glitter. If you are working on your dining room table like me, yes I do have a huge workshop but it's already full of projects! So, if you are working on your dining room table and using German glass glitter, remember it's real glass, cover the table with plastic and I use a large shoe box so you can collect the left over glitter and re use it.

More gluing, this time for the Vintage White balls I used decoupage glue for the glitter drops and a two part epoxy to glue the rhinestones, and finished them with lace.

I have few ideas for this millinery leaves, oh..they are velvet and pure white, the truth they are to beautiful to glue or glitter up. And I am planning to glitter up this creamy white cabbage rose too.

No plans for the white pearls, they are always pretty just the way they are.

Never bought snow flakes before, I am hooked now. I have been using it for the "Vintage Jars".

Never enough white lace, I use it to embellish the soldered bottles, charms, jars.
I filled the Vintage Jar with some of the snow flakes, a white tree glittered up, a guardian angel girl and each jar that I put together has a different word for the soldered bubble "hope", "vintage", "sweet".
There is still room in the jar to add personal messages too.

Now, how am I going to close the box?
Arrivederci Rita

Thank you to Kathleen for hosting another "bellissimo" White Wednesday.

  6. Ciao Carissima Rita.
