"Roosty"

I had to name him...I have been taking care of Roosty for a couple of weeks since the raccoon took his brother and damaged Roosty's right eye. I am sure he is blind in his right eye. Since that day the other chickens don't let him get close to them or the coop,so Roosty hangs out with us. He is a character! Well Merry Christmas from Roosty.

Ciao Rita

  2. Poor Roosty, but he still is one handsome fella, it's a good thing you're kind and generous of heart. Is he an "inside" chicken? That sounds silly doesn't it?
Hope you're having a great week!
    Christmas Blessings,
    Debra

  6. And Roosty is still one handsome chicken. It's a good thing you got his good side. I think he looks great with all the Christmas decorations behind him. I once lost 10 hens to raccoons. They are now on my bad list. (to put it nicely)
    Hugs
