For the Love of Dogs!

Happy Monday!
and what a Monday.....As some of you know I lost Bennie my 5 year old dog about 3 months ago and how painful that was and still is just thinking about it. Yesterday I took the BIG step, not only I brought home one dog but two!

Meet Callie, 1 year old.

Meet Milo, 1 year old.

Both come from a shelter and rescued from I don't know what kind of situation and I don't want to know. They are both healthy and so loveble. Callie has a chimical burn in her back and the hair will not grow back but she is still so so cute. Milo is so smart....and he discovered the chickens so I am chasing him all over the yard while the chickens are screming, not a pretty picture. Few adjustments need to be done, but they have a HOME now.

Ciao for now
Rita

  2. I too, lost a dog at a young age, it hurt so badly for a year. Like you, I opened my heart to another chihuahua and pray she is the love of my life. Lucky you to have found 2 of the cutest dogs!

  9. Oh Rita! How wonderful! They look very happy at their new home. My Mom volunteers regularly at an animal shelter and always has such sweet stories about people like you adopting these pets that need loving homes. Bless you dear!

  11. Hi Rita,
First I have to say, that crown is STUNNING! Is that a class for people who can solder? (I am a lame, afraid of tools kinda girl, not cool and daring like you and Lisa)
And those pups are sooo cute! We adopted a little chihuahua mix and we are in love with her! She loves to shred paper but gives the best hugs!!!
I am really looking forward to Glitterfest again! I will help Robin again, too busy with life to get enough made up but I wouldn't miss the fun! I will see you there! karen....
