and more chicks

Sono Nati Piu' Pulcini!!!!
More chick are born!!!!

So to recap our adventure with the chicks. Few days ago....surprise surprise mamma Cinderella appears after 2o and some days with 9 chicks right behind her! We get her and the babies settled in the new coop. Then Cinderella numero 2 that is been sitting on eggs for 3 weeks starts hatching eggs. 3 chicks are born out of 8.....we wait.....then Gimpy is born. Why Gimpy you ask? Cinderella numero 2 decides not to take care of Gimpy, he falls and brakes is foot. That's when I came in and rescued her. But Cinderella numero 2 decides not to sit on the eggs anymore so we took the remaining 4 eggs in the house and put them under a heat lamp. About 4 am Gimpy wakes me up....guess what another chick is born! I have never seen the whole cracking of the egg and and the wet little yellow chick coming out! Cute Cute. Now waiting for 3 more .....
I am just wondering if I get any work done today.
Ciao for now
Rita
