Soldering Class!

Another amazing class with a wonderful group of ladies!
I really love Thursday Soldering Classes and the small group is perfect. I get to know all the girls really well. This was another Solder Bottle class with a Soldered Cameo.

I purchased the cutest images through etsy.
Few years back Alison and I, a dear friend of mine used to collect Fortunes and save them in our journals. Well while cleaning for the class I found this one. Perfect for the girls so I decided to add another soldering project. We filled small bottles with mica, German glass glitter, seashells and beads and soldered a fork on top as a business card holder.

Food is very important in my class. lol
I made Orange cupcakes with Orange glaze to serve with Cappuccinos. For lunch we had homemade bread with a basil butter spread, salad with fresh boiled eggs, olives, sliced tomatoes and mozzarella drizzled with oil of olive and fresh basil.

I glued these flowers to the cloth pins. I purchased the flowers from Dyanna Cooley. Dyanna has the best metal appliques and charms and rhinestones. She will be at the Vintage Marketplaces at the Oaks June 3rd and 4th.

Bella watched over us!

  6. OMG Rita... such an exciting class AND great food... it doesn't get any better than this! On my 'list' is to enroll in a soldering class one day to learn to make those amazing bottle stoppers... The Man and I have collected old bottles discovered in the Arizona Desert for years now and it would be great to transform each of them into a lovely work of Art! Your food and beverages have me salivating... *winks*
