Is cooking an ART?

I hope it is because not only I LOVE to teach soldering but I do enjoy cooking for the students. I can't do one without the other!

Today I have a beginner class with Normi and Sylvia.
We will be working on Charms

For breakfast I decided to bake Challah Chocolate Chip Bread (foodnetwork.com)

For lunch we are having my Bean soup with Ciabatta Bread....do you know what Ciabatta means? Slipper, Sandal, Flip Flop.
Bean soup:
1 package of mix beans plus a cup of garbanzo, wash and drain.
Saute' 1 white onion, 2 green onions in olive oil, add salt and pepper and white wine about 3 tablespoons. Add 1 small can of tomato paste, mix, add 2 cups of beef broth or chicken broth, mix.
Pour everything in the crock pot and cook for 8 hours (you may have to add more water and seasoning) add few fresh basil leaves at the end.
Buon Appetito!
Ciao for now
Got to teach
Rita
