A NEW/VINTAGE GREEN CABINET AND FEW BASKETS

Friday I went shopping! I do always feel guilty shopping for my home.....A couple of weeks ago I went to see a friend in Solana Beach and in her store there was this green corner cabinet. Painted with CeCe Caldwell chalk paint, a technique that I am not familiar with but the patina and the color is amazing!Debi Beard from
Debi's Design Diary owner of Vintage House was kind enough to give me few samples of this chalk paint and I hope soon to be able to try it out and show you what I did with it. Anyway I left the store and I could not stop thinking about this cabinet. A couple of days later I messaged Debi and told her that I would go back and buy the cabinet! CRAZY!
 I love it
and just before heading down to Solana Beach I stopped by Matilda's Mouse in Valley Center for their Barn Sale and found few treasures, including these two GREEN baskets.

Wishing you a wonderful week
Ciao for now

Rita

  1. That Vintage Shade of Seafoam Green is my absolute Favorite Retro hue... and who doesn't Adore a Beadboard Cabinet!!! I'm so glad that new paint companies are coming out with that shade so that we can do fab makeovers of great old furniture with good bones that need a little TLC. Blessings from the Arizona Desert... 2. Gorgeous green, Rita. I have tried to duplicate vintage greens many times and have failed. Nothing comes close. I might have to try this one.
