| The temperature dropped in one day!.....from 70 degrees to 36. It rained all night and all I could think was....the chickens! Are they keeping warm? They go inside their coop at night but still, it got really cold. You should have seen them today, the sun was out and there they were, happy.... looking for worms. My babies! I know it's winter and it's really cold in the most parts of the USA and Europe but I would prefer to know in advance if I am wearing a sun dress or a ski jacket. So. California has crazy weather! |

I love your "girls"!! I too would be worrying about my chickens if I was you. And for all of us out here, 36 degrees is COLD!! I'm glad the girls are enjoying the sunshine today. I've got some hollyhock pictures to send you too ;0)

Your chickens are so pretty. I would be afraid for them too. We have the same kind of weather here in the Florida panhandle. Air conditioning one night, heater the next.
