Can you imagine spending your afternoons sitting under a pepper tree on one of these chairs?

Christie and I had the chairs re- upholstered. Great work on the chair part but we were not too happy with the ruffle ....it needed something more to really make it Romantic & Rustic. Day 1 Christie came over and painted the roses, I watched her bring the roses to life. Always a wonderful experience seen her paint.

Day 2 Christie spent the morning making ruffles, three layers. In the afternoon we attached it to the chairs and finished it with ribbon.
Now they are complete!

We had a great time under the pepper tree. Christie worked on the set up, styling while I took photos.

Another great day at the TVM headquarters!

The chairs will be for sale at The Vintage Markeplace at the Oaks September 7th and 8th, 2012.

Christie Repasy co-host of the Vintage Marketplace at the Oaks is the amazing designer of the entrance, admission booth.

 I love watching my SIL put everything together. Same as if she was painting a canvas. First thing she does in the morning before the show is make sure everything is brought at the front entrance and then everything comes out of the bags! Lace, vintage table cloths, blankets, ribbons.....I am there but out of the way, if she needs me I will help if not I let her do her thing. Vintage Fabrics, lace, tassels, silk, soft cream, pinks are positioned in the right place. 

 Lace and Azaleas adorn the mascot of the show

 Christie also made a banner using vintage rose images and pink tassels and ribbons are added between the letters.

 The Wall is stunning as always! 

And there is a story behind the crochet blanket. Nonna Pat, Christie's Mom crochet this blanket for her first granddaughter, Cherise, Christie's daughter. Just beautiful......

A Day in Paris!

I never had a table this small......loved it!

Sunny Carlsbad

Beautiful weather in Carlsbad this last weekend. Raffaele came with us to ejoy the Flower Fields and he took a lot of photos!

Tempo stupendo a Carlsbad questo fine settimana. Raffaele ha passato il Sabato con noi al Campo dei Fiori e ha fatto un mondo di foto!

I can't wait to spend this coming week working in my garden.

Passero' questa settimana a curare il mio giardino.

A little birdie nesting

Ciao for now, have a great week. My boys are on Spring Brake, I will have a lot of cooking to do, LOVE IT! and today I will especially take care of my 17 year old. He is having 5 wisdom teeth removed!

Un uccellino che si prepara in nido. I ragazzi sono in vacanza questa settimana, cucinero' tantissimo e sopratutto mi curero' del mio 17enne che oggi avra' i sui 5 denti del giudizio rimossi!
