Re Thinking!
I am the luckiest girl right? I work from home, I do what I love...teach and build. Since I have been teaching soldering classes every week I can't keep up with the workshop that is always been where I teach classes. The workshop is a mess and is getting cleaned up little by little so I am re thinking, organizing and decided that the living room will be where I teach my classes. How do you keep it a living room but have all your supplies?.

"Organize with Prettiness"
Inspired by one of Lori Martins cabinets I built this cabinet to start organizing my supplies in the living room. LOVE IT! and P.S. Dean noticed it and likes it too.....

I will be rearranging constantly just because the supplies you see are for the upcoming classes, the rest is concealed in the cabinet underneath.

So rewarding when I can plan, build, organize, cook, clean and talk to the boys all in one day!

I will be teaching this weekend in Tustin at Whimzy's and if you are interested there are 2 spaces left. Please visit their site to register. Then........I am teaching a B-Day Soldering class November 12th!!!! So excited and can't wait to start making the kits and what to serve for lunch!

Buongiorno Mondo!

I attended a Seminar this last Saturday."Launch your Creativity II". My second Seminar and looking forward to attend the April Seminar. It's so clear to me now what was before all scattered inside my brain! Do you know what I mean? It's like putting puzzle pieces in the right place. # 1 What do I want to do when I grow up? #2 Write my Goals, #3 Commit to it,
# 4 Organize your day, and in my case my computer desk!!! lol, # 5 Help others and I will add one more from my friend Beth # 6 "Sharing in Caring".
All these women in the picture below spoke to us. Each and every one of these Ladies has a particular gift and they were the W.H.O.A. (Women Helping One Another) of the afternoon. Sorry you could not make it, take time to read more by visiting their site and read what they taught us at L.Y.C.

Next stop Private Soldering Class tomorrow and getting ready for Glitterfest!

Soldering Class!

Another amazing class with a wonderful group of ladies!
I really love Thursday Soldering Classes and the small group is perfect. I get to know all the girls really well. This was another Solder Bottle class with a Soldered Cameo.

I purchased the cutest images through etsy.
Few years back Alison and I, a dear friend of mine used to collect Fortunes and save them in our journals. Well while cleaning for the class I found this one. Perfect for the girls so I decided to add another soldering project. We filled small bottles with mica, German glass glitter, seashells and beads and soldered a fork on top as a business card holder.

Food is very important in my class. lol
I made Orange cupcakes with Orange glaze to serve with Cappuccinos. For lunch we had homemade bread with a basil butter spread, salad with fresh boiled eggs, olives, sliced tomatoes and mozzarella drizzled with oil of olive and fresh basil.

I glued these flowers to the cloth pins. I purchased the flowers from Dyanna Cooley. Dyanna has the best metal appliques and charms and rhinestones. She will be at the Vintage Marketplaces at the Oaks June 3rd and 4th.

Bella watched over us!

Such an amazing show!

Great new connections and so nice to see our customers drive all the way to Redlands. Yes indeed "Art Saves". After loosing Benny I needed to escape from reality for a little while and this was the place. So many creative women and the Martins are the best. They opened their beautiful Victorian home to us and shared their love for antiques. Thank you so much feathered friends.

As always, I did bring my camera and left the memory card at home! Go figure....so please stop by Tricia's blog for more photos.
Next up!.......soldering classes new schedule is here and Christie and I are going to concentrate on our great adventure, the next Chateau de Fleurs Studio and Vintage Market Place,
December 3rd and 4th.
