I am really wondering if this is going to be the year of the dogs and the chickens! Should I move to the city? And have no animals at all? We lost Bennie at a young age in November, Milo ran away with Sunday in February, (check out the adventure of Sunday and Milo HERE),Callie( in the photo) gets poisoned by a flower a month ago, and now .... Callie gets dragged by my neighbors dogs and has 3 deep bite marks in her back . When you think everything is back to normal...is not! She will be ok...but seriously this has been the worst year for my puppies.
and it doesn't end here. If you remember about 3 month ago we found 10 chicks under the carport....(story HERE) well we found 7 more yesterday. Back on taking care of more chicks. We have a total of 27!
Back to work at the Reade's Farm!
Ciao for now
Rita
Horny Hens is more like it! LOL!
ReplyDeletePOOR Callie! She is just so small.
Glad she is okay. :-(
HUGS to you and the Farm animals!
XOXO
Dearest Rita,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fate for all your furry friends! Poor little Callie... Indeed that neighbor's dog is not very disciplined.
Good luck with your chickens.
Love to you and enjoy your weekend!
Mariette
Never a dull moment...those chicks are adorable!

Awe, your animals are precious. I'd have a long talk with the neighbors about their aggressive dog, that's for sure. God help the dog who attacks mine.....I have a 4 pound chihuahua, she is under my arm outside, I don't trust other's pets.
ReplyDeleteYou and your poor animals!! Lucky they have you loving them!!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering how you are surviving the Phoenix heat?!?!
Oh my! I can't believe all those chicks! Too cute. And your poor Callie. So glad she's OK though. You're gonna need to change your blog to Mammabellafarm!
