White Wednesday # 110

A friend invited me to go to Tustin, after the Famiglia's approval I said yes......
Thank you Michelle for inviting me.
We started at Jamestown in Tustin, visited Truly Tattered and Whimzy and
I did buy few small items to refinish and. Then lunch and Country Road. There I saw a bottle carrier that I had to have. That's all I purchased....and in the car Christie told me that it was from Kate's booth. SPECIAL! Kate is One of the kindest lady I ever met and her style is so Delizioso.

Please visit Kate's blog Salvage Dior
I made few changes to the carrirer. It did come with 3 bottles and 2 adorable napkins. I wrapped the carrier with lace and ribbon and tide it with more ribbon. I also made napkins rings out of pearls bracelets. I am planning to ad labels to each bottles, but that's another post. Please stop by Country Roads if you are in Old Orange, Ca. and visit my friends' beautiful spaces.

White Walls?

I noticed that I am not that excited about the color of my walls lately. They were white and they have been yellow for a couple of years. Dilemma....do I want to paint them white again? Should I do just this wall white and leave the rest Yellow? What do you think?

Fire Pit Make Over!

Since fire season is here and we are not going to have open flames for a while, I had to do something with the fire pit that sits in the middle of the Terrazza. Really ugly to see, an empty, gray fire pit. So I pulled few things together and Voila'.

Dean comes home and sees my creation and....his comment. "Ah! more things to burn".

Soldering Class at Rooster Creek!

Teaching classes is becoming my little get away .The ladies are so sweet and it's really exciting to spend the day with them. Preparing for the class usually takes me 3 full days, you don't want to forget a thing....then the class starts and everything is just fine. The smile on their faces when they take their project home is priceless.

Rooster Creek in Old Town Temecula has the best set up for classes.

I am not a good baker yet so every class I attempt something new to share with the ladies. This time I made lemon cupcakes with lemon glaze and the tea was a mix of pink lemonade ,lemon tea and mint.

Got a phone call from Christie about an hour ago....she was calm but I could hear something else was going on....
She asked me if I had see the new issue of Romantic Homes Magazine. I said no, Jo-ann still had the older issue and then I asked why....?
She whispered, #10 in the list is the Vintage Marketplace. Best Flea Markets!

How happy we are to really work so hard and be rewarded. The vendors are what makes this show so good.
Thank you Romantic Homes!

Happy Monday!

I still love my Mondays.

I did accomplished so much last week and I am sure I will have more accomplished this coming week.

Lisa Loria and I worked for hours Thursday on finishing the crown sample for our class August 27th. It is amazing. So many elements have been added to this crown. This is it! by taking this class you will learn all the different tequiniques and tricks about solder. It's an intermidiate and advance class only, sorry about that. I am still teaching beginner classes so please take one of those and Lisa and I are planning to teach more crown classes in the near future. For more info on this Love Nest Crown class check out HERE.

I finished few projects for the next shows....Arizona in August and The Vintage Marketplace in September. Love the colors! Pink wagon, spindles, birdhouses and much more.....

I also had time to add 2 pendants on etsy.

This coming week I am looking forward to teach the solder bottle class with bubble charm / ceramic heart.
I will be at Rooster Creek in Old Town Temecula.

" Tavolino Prima e Dopo"
Before and After

Another beautiful piece that I worked on not long ago. And it's going to Phoenix AZ to a lovely customer.

I chose this applique for the front of the table.
(Applique available on my etsy)

Love the shape of this table that I purchased in Old Town Temecula at Granny's.

So after having my Deano spray it White. It needed something else. Don't you think?

I used my aqua paint and just painted the top and legs of the table. But the aqua looks too new to me.

A coat of minwax stain and I got the look that I was looking for.

Un tavolinetto Stupendo!
